The following is based on Andrzej Sapkowski's non-Witcher lore and its exact relation to the Witcher universe remains unknown.

Irin is an wealthy human city on the Daisy river, connected by roads with Kreza to the south and Dyveken to the north.

The city was (in)famous for its "nymph hunters", a group of mercenaries enslaving naiads in the lower flow of the river, in order to sell them to the city's bourgeoisie – always eager to pay for "exotic pets" they could display in their aquariums. The hunters were not against enslaving other humans as well, as they did with Bovin Lagerfeld whom they intended to sell to one of the city's brothels.

Notes[]

  • The city appears in Oko Yrrhedesa, the role-playing tabletop game by Andrzej Sapkowski. While it shares many similarities to the Witcher lore and refers to the characters from the novels a couple of times, its exact connection to the World and the Continent remains unknown.
