Karstburg (Polish: Krasowe Zamczysko) is a ruined castle in Hengfors that used to belong to a powerful sorcerer.[1]

As the fortress has been abandoned for centuries, there is no one to tell the full story of the place. Some people say that the mage who lived here used to kidnap humans and transform them into horrendous monsters; others say that he cultivated poisonous and magic plants, travelled through the ghost world or befriended devils. As with other tales, there are grains of truth in these ones as well, albeit very tiny ones.[1]
