Tips[]
- The effect stacks directly and limitlessly, meaning at Level 5, killing 2 opponents will result in an instant 100% critical hit chance for the remainder of the fight. However, further kills will continue to increase the critical hit chance, but will have no more benefit.
- The skill is particularly useful when fighting large groups of enemies, also during boss battles where the opponent summons other enemies, like during the fight with The Caretaker in the Hearts of Stone expansion.
- Only opponents on which Geralt deals the killing blow count, meaning that even if Geralt was fighting the opponent but someone else dealt the killing blow then the skill will not take effect. For example, while fighting Caranthir, he will call Ice Elementals for aid, which Geralt can kill for the effect. However, Caranthir may also kill them with his magic projectiles, and if they hit, the skill will not increase the critical hit chance.
