Magic key is a quest item in the Blood and Wine expansion that is needed to enter Hen Gàidh.
It's only obtainable by completing Blood Simple, at the end of which Orianna will give it to Geralt. It can then be used to enter the sealed cave entrance to Hen Gàidh, usually during What Lies Unseen.

- If it's received but not used during the main quests, it's still possible to use the key, but as soon as one enters The Unseen Elder's cavern a cutscene will trigger and the Unseen Elder will instantly kill Geralt.
