Medell was the son of Hugo of Rivia and Bienvenu La Louve. He was also the king of Temeria. He was the husband of Sancia of Sodden and thus the father of Foltest and Adda, the grandfather of Adda the White. His reign was relatively unremarkable, aside from a major defeat by Virfuril near Hagge.
