Hi, thanks for your information so far for some of the swords! One important note: instead of adding information into the single infobox if there's a different type, add a separate box. This page is one example. And let me or another admin know if you have any questions, thanks!
Oh, another quick note: please don't pull images/information from other sites. It causes some sticky problems when it comes to referencing images, so if possible for images, add your own screenshots and such.
For Weapon/Armor/Item icons, if those are just pulled from gamefiles, is that okay? For gallery images, got it--own screenshots.
As for information, as with many Wikis, I just update pages as I come across/find them in game and see if the pages here have the matching/up to date information (if necessary, outside links are to be referenced respectively)-- I assume that the right approach here?
Yes, just make sure to check our images on file, as most, if not all of them, should already be up (I still have a handful left that I haven't put up because they don't seem to appear anywhere in game).
And yes, that's the right approach for gathering information :)
For item names, we don't capitalize every word unless it's like that in game. For instance, Kaedweni gambeson is just that, not "Kaedweni Gabeson". If you don't know if it's caps or not, a good way to see is to drop the item and pick it back up, then look at the main menu screen (where it shows all ite glossary, world map, etc. icons). and it should have it listed below in it's correct punctuation form.
No problem ^.^ There are a couple exceptions to it, but they're pretty rare, like the legendary stuff, where technically "legendary" is lowercase, but it'd be too confusing for most to have to search or link to "Grandmaster legendary Griffin..." Still not sure why the devs did that. (did I mention the wiki is case sensitive with article names? Yeah, no easy way to fix that >_< )
