Tw3 gwent deck Monsters

Monsters Gwent deck consists of a total of 38 available Gwent cards of monsters that can be encountered in the games. The deck contains only hero and unit cards, often with the Muster ability.

  • Special - One of your units in play is randomly carried over to the next round.

Overview[]

The Monsters are led by wild hunt characters who are the leaders of this deck. The Monsters faction ability is to keep one random unit card after each round on the battlefield, and they by far have the largest number of Muster cards. They also however have no Spy or Medic cards. Unlike the setup of your decks for the Northern Realms or Nilfgaardian Empire, where you usually want only the 22 best units you have for the deck, for Monsters you want to fill your deck with as many of the Muster cards as you can get your hands on; if you lay down one of them you get them all, even the undealt ones.

However, all of your Muster cards are Melee, so one Biting Frost card will obliterate you. Have plenty of Clear Weather cards handy to prevent this, and remember that the Muster swarming effect only happens once; when picking your two cards to swap at the initial setup try to get the most mixed set of Muster card types you can, so you can do Muster swarms several times and not get quickly burned out of your strength in the first round.
