Murta was one of the novices that Tissaia de Vries took to Aretuza to learn magic.
Biography[]
Along with other initiates, Fola and Glacella, Murta was one of the three young women from Aretuza who met Yennefer when she returned for an emergency meeting of the Brotherhood. When Yennefer saw Murta, she remembered the old days when she dabbled in magic herself. A worrier by nature, Murta was easily captivated by Yennefer. After finishing her training at Aretuza, she ended up helping the King of Cidaris.
After the Battle of Sodden Hill, Murta now a full-fledged mage, reunited with Yennefer after her return to Aretuza, hugging her like a friend, when the mage went to take a hot bath with her and Sabrina while Triss watched from the sidelines.
