The term obelisks is most frequently used to refer to the monoliths which are paired with the sephirot in the quests, A Mysterious Tower and Monoliths, but there are also other obelisks in the game.
- There are strange, presumably druidic obelisks in the Druids' Grove
- Circles of Elements are formed of several obelisks
- Wayfarers' stones, used to enter Ancient crypts and other secret places are obelisks
