Osbert was a witcher-instructor of the School of the Wolf at Kaer Morhen.

Through years, Osbert taught many young trainees who had just passed the Trial of the Grasses; among them Geralt of Rivia, Gascaden, and Clovis. One day, Geralt threw him off his horse and Osbert broke his right arm.
