Otto Thyssen was a member of the House of Thyssen and the son of Scarab Thyssen. He married Deirdre aep Calhall, an elf with whom he fathered one daughter and two sons, one of whom was named Guido. As Deirdre refused to be a baby factory, it's believed Otto had a few illegitimate children.
His merit in several battles against Redania and Kaedwen didn't go unnoticed and he was rewarded with the hereditary title of Count from Gedovius Troyden, the King of Kovir at the time, thus making the Thyssens true nobles.[1]
He later fell during a battle with Kaedwen.
