Out On Your Arse! is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Prerequisite: this quest becomes available only after the completion of Contract: Deadly Delights.
Walkthrough[]
After Contract: Deadly Delights, head back to Crippled Kate's to find a crying strumpet outside and talk with her to learn some Skelliger warriors took over the brothel, throwing everyone out so they can drink and revel over a good raid they had. Agree to help and head in for a conversation with the warriors.
Important: this quest will fail after about a week in-game time if not completed. It will also fail if you back out of the talk with the warrior at any time.
Ask them to leave and you'll have up to 5 options to do that:
- Challenge the warrior to a one-on-one fistfight
- Threaten the whole group (will result in fistfighting all 3)
- Use Axii (requires Delusion level 2 for a minimum of 35 )
- Mention you killed the ice giant, scaring them away without a fight (only if you completed The Lord of Undvik)
- say goodbye (will fail the quest)
Note that if you lose a fistfight here, the game will treat it like you died and you must load a previous save.
However you deal with the group, once they agree to leave go talk to the strumpet to let her know the good news and she'll be thrilled and give you a reward, which you can accept or decline. Note that regardless what you choose, you'll ultimately still get 25 and 15 .
Journal entry[]
- Near Crippled Kate's, Geralt encountered a sobbing woman. He never had been able to walk unmoved past a trouble maiden and so inquired if he could be of any help. She asked if he could go inside Crippled Kate's and toss out the band of drunken Skelligers which had taken over the establishment.
- If Geralt walks away from the Skelliger (fails quest):
- Though Geralt promised to help the desperate woman, he never got around to it. These things happen.
- If Geralt helps kick them out:
- Like always, Geralt successfully saved the damsel in distress. He got rid of the band of drunks and received a small purse and a grateful smile as his reward. The latter was what he prized the most.
Objectives[]
Notes[]
- At least as long as the crying strumpet hasn't appeared yet, late in the game it will be further delayed at the start of Final Preparations, until you talk to Yennefer and Abbé Faria during The Great Escape. Afterwards you can leave through the front door and the strumpet won't appear until you leave the general area and return later.
Bugs[]
- If you complete Contract: Deadly Delights and find Crippled Kate's empty and no one outside to start this quest even after meditating, try fast travelling to another map and that should fix it.
- During the potential fistfight, you are confined to a very tight space and rolling away (as opposed to a regular dodge) is also disabled. Even though the room is fairly big, every little stool and corner will block your movement, while the stairs to the second floor act as a wall. Thus, if you're doing the 3-on-1 fistfight, it's very likely to get stuck between the warriors with almost impossible odds of winning.
