Pale Widow is a special type of giant centipede that lives in underground lairs. They are first introduced in the Blood and Wine expansion.

Combat Tactics
The Pale Widow isn't particularly strong, but its a tricky foe to fight, really very good at moving about the area and trying to do quick attacks, so keeping a Quen Sign or Yrden sign up, while constantly moving is your best bet. And as Pale Widow is variety of insectoid, than worth of try could be Insectoid oil.
