Peter Evertsen was a Nilfgaardian official and an army bailiff during the first war where he served the decree which essentially called for the annihilation of Lyria and Aedirn. After the war, he was promoted to imperial treasurer.
Later, during the reign of Morvran Voorhis, he was falsely accused of abuse of power, convicted, and imprisoned at Winneburg where he died. Ultimately, he was cleared, though posthumously, by the emperor Jan Calveit in the year 1328.

Sergeant-in-chief of the army during the Nordling Wars; beginning in 1290. Grand Treasurer of the Crown. Elevated to the rank of co-adjudicator during the final period of the reign of Emhyr. Falsely accused of abuse of power during the reign of Emperor Morvran Voorhis; condemned and imprisoned. Died in 1301 at Winneburg Castle. Postumously rehabilitated in 1328 by emperor Jan Calveit.
