Geralt met Philippe Calagrande in the dungeons of the Albatross, an Ofieri ship, after he has been kidnapped by Aamad's crew. According to Phelippe, the Ofieri warriors chose him as a guide about Oxenfurt, with the goal of finding the sewers of the city and their prince, who was victim of a curse.
However, when Aamad and his warriors arrived in the sewers, the prince was already killed by the blade of Geralt. Aamad and the warriors then captured Geralt and Phelippe, with the goal of bringing them to the court of the Ofieri king and prosecute them with the accusation of regicide.
Luckily, the Master Mirror came to save Geralt, summoning a storm that crashes the ship.
Geralt survived the impact but sadly, Phelippe drowned; his head is then cut by the Ofieris warriors for easier transportation.
