Quen Discharge is an ability in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the Sign tree.
Description
Level 1:
- Reflects 5% absorbed damage back to the attacker.
- Stamina regeneration in combat: +0.5/s
Level 2:
- Reflects 10% absorbed damage back to the attacker.
- Stamina regeneration in combat: +1/s
Level 3:
- Reflects 15% absorbed damage back to the attacker.
- Stamina regeneration in combat: +1.5/s
Level 4:
- Reflects 20% absorbed damage back to the attacker.
- Stamina regeneration in combat: +2/s
Level 5:
- Reflects 25% absorbed damage back to the attacker.
- Stamina regeneration in combat: +2.5/s
Tips
- Unlike other "punishment" effects it functions in an unusual way. Like other such effects the damage returned depends on the damage Geralt recieves, but since Geralt cannot take damage while protected by Quen he does not actually have to take damage for it to work. However, since the durability of Quen depends on his own resistance against the damage received the reflected damage is inconsistent to say the least.
- If Geralt is already highly resistent to the damage received even without Quen then the reflected damage will be reduced to nothing.
- If the received damage is high then it will be reflected back accordingly. So the effect works best when getting hit by attacks that instantly break Quen.
