Remiz (d. July 1267) was Skomlik's brother-in-law and a servant for the House of Varnhagen in Sarda.[1]
Biography[]
At some point after he got married, he became abusive and started to beat Skomlik's sister.[1]
Joining the Trappers[]
In July 1267, while travelling from Sarda to the moorlands in Geso with the Blue Knight and Two Tusks, they came across the Trappers and Sir Sweers. After the three knights had killed each other, he betrayed his lords and joined his relative Skomlik, the leader of the Trappers. The bounty hunters were taking Ciri to Amarillo for her reward, and so Remiz joined them; the other Varnhagen servant being killed by Skomlik as to avoid witnesses.
Afterwards they stopped in the village of Glyswen and met up with a fellow gang, the Nissir, at the inn, as Skomlik was old friends with their leader Vercta. Seconds after Ciri and the Nissir's captive Kayleigh managed to get free from their restraints, thanks to a knife from the innkeeper, the Rats broke through the door and attacked the two groups. One of their members Reef quickly cut Remiz down with a sweeping blow.[1]
