During the reign of Baldwin Thyssen, Rhyd of Poviss declared himself king of Poviss and seceded from Kovir. He was killed along with Idi (the king of Kovir) and their entire families during the "Night of Knives and Torches", after which Esterad Thyssen, Baldwin's son, took the throne back.
