Riverside (Polish: Przyrzecze) was once part of Emblonia and makes up the northern half of the now defunct kingdom, bordering the river Pontar to the north and Pontaria to the south. By the end of the 12th century, likely during the reign of Vizimir I or Radovid IV, it was under rule of Redania.
King Vizimir II tried to use his influence and money to get free companies, like Shevlov's, to illegally expand Redania's borders here, encroaching onto the Pontaria region by digging up Temeria's border posts and throwing them away and planting ones for Redania in their place.
