Ruiz Dorrit was a 13th-century court artist to the House of Raven of Cintra.[1]
Biography[]
During Queen Calanthe's reign, Ruiz painted a portrait of her daughter Pavetta. Around 1262, when Calanthe's grandaughter Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon was nine years old, the dwarf painted a full-length portrait of her as well called Infanta with a Greyhound. The first painting had been preserved at least until the 14th century, however the portrait of Cirilla vanished.[1]
