Scían was a warrior elf who, just prior to the Conjunction of the Spheres, worked with six others to take down the Continent's new empire. The group's actions led to the Conjunction of the Spheres and made the first witcher prototype.
Biography[]
Scían was born into the Ghost Tribe, a group of elite warriors who didn't back any kingdom. King Darach of Xin'trea reached out at one point to request they fight for him in the thousand year war, but when the Ghost Tribe refused, he had their water supply poisoned and took their ancestral sword, Soulreaver, as a trophy. Everyone, including Scían's brother, was killed by this but Scían managed to survive, becoming the last of the Ghost Tribe as a result.
She was found and taken in by the Raven Clan, Pryshia's royal protectors, as a sword master. However, when one of her trainees, Éile, saw Scían's key harp and became entranced by music instead of becoming a protector, Scían was banished. With nowhere else to turn to, she was forced to become a sellsword.
This led to Scían living in seclusion in her ancestral homeland, where, ever paranoid from what happened to her tribe, set up countless traps around the area. After Merwyn's coup that killed off all the clans, Scían was surprised to find Éile near her home along with Fjall, having thought all clan members had been killed as well.
