Scavenger Hunt: Cat School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4 is a treasure hunt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Walkthrough[]
The easiest way to get all the markers on the map is to buy Adalbert Kermith's fourth map from Lindenvale's blacksmith.
For these you're headed back to Skellige. The steel sword diagram will likely be the easiest one to find early on, as it's at Kaer Gelen on Ard Skellig. From the gated entrance head around to find the other entrance on the eastern side and where several wraiths will spawn as you enter. After they're dead, continue on until you reach the cat symbol and head up the stairs on the right. Just before you reach the next small landing, to your left you should see a small opening: go in here to find the chest with the diagram.
The other two locations are on Faroe Isle. The silver sword diagram is in a cave east of Harviken, just below the area where Jutta an Dimun is fighting. It is marked as a monster den, but there are no monsters inside. Head inside and use Aard on the farthest wall (the one on the left just has minor loot inside). Follow the short tunnel to the end to find the chest with the diagram inside it.
All the armor diagrams are located south-southwest of Trottheim, in a cave on the southern shore. Similarly to the previous one, there are no monsters in the cave despite it being a monster den, although you might have to fight some sirens and harpies before you can safely enter. Once inside, you can ignore the statues here (they're not needed for this quest) and head left from them to find a chest just behind a column with a skeleton next to it and contains the armor, boots, gauntlets, and trousers diagrams.
Journal entry[]
- During one of his numerous adventures, Geralt got his hands on a map covered with strange markings. He quickly deduced that they indicated the locations of hidden witcher caches and, intrigued by the chance of discovering long-lost crafting schematics, he set out to find them.
Geralt found all the caches marked on the map and recovered the crafting schematics contained therein. With these in hand, he could add life-saving improvements to his combat gear. He did not know how many more such caches remained undiscovered in the world - but hoped one day he would have the chance to find more.

Notes[]
- The statues in the last location unlock a room with a couple of treasure chests in the back of the cave. There is no quest associated with them and the location is rather remote, with no other reason to return to it later, so it is advisable to solve that puzzle as well.
