Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1 is a treasure hunt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Walkthrough

While you can find the diagrams by just exploring, an easy way to get all the locations marked is to buy Edwin Greloff's first map from the armorer in Midcopse, which will then reveal them all.

From the Refugees' Camp (west of Midcopse) move southwest to the peninsula with the bandit camp. Inside the ruins immediately west of the camp, the chest containing the diagram is located up a couple of stone steps.

From the Inn at the Crossroads signpost ride northwest towards the ruins at the northwest-most point of the land mass. The chest containing the diagram is located within a small enclosed rectangular portion of the wall.

Near the Burned Ruins signpost (east of Crow's Perch, near Shrieker's cave), the chest is located in the middle of the ruin, beneath some rubble.

Journal entry

During one of his numerous adventures, Geralt got his hands on a map covered with strange markings. He quickly deduced that they indicated the locations of hidden witcher caches and, intrigued by the chance of discovering long-lost crafting schematics, he set out to find them.
Geralt found all the caches marked on the map and recovered the crafting schematics contained therein. With these in hand, he could add life-saving improvements to his combat gear. He did not know how many more such caches remained undiscovered in the world - but hoped one day he would have the chance to find more.

Find the boots upgrade diagram using your Witcher Senses.
Find the trousers upgrade diagram using your Witcher Senses.
Find the steel sword upgrade diagram using your Witcher Senses.
