Template:Character infobox Sergeant Ardal is the most respected and influential of the Bloody Baron's militia currently living in Crow's Perch. He served alongside the "Baron" in the war, but after their group was massacred by Nilfgaardian soldiers, the Baron, Sergeant and the remnants of the Temerian forces in Velen took over Crow's Perch and ruled over Velen, and though they maintained order, the Baron and his men harassed and brutalized the people of Velen.
Around this time, the Sergeant also became the champion of Velen's fist-fighting ring. Geralt became the new champion after defeating the Sergeant and three other influential fist-fighters. After the Baron leaves with wife/hangs himself, the Sergeant takes his place and begins an even bloodier reign of terror.
