Silver ingot

Silver ingot is a crafting component in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that can be dismantled into silver ore. It is needed to craft several silver swords and crossbow bolts.

It can be found as random loot, and one can also always be found inside the hut in Drudge where the secondary quest A Dog's Life ends. However, unlike most components of its kind, it cannot be purchased. The easiest way to obtain it is by dismantling the junk items, pure silver and silver candelabrum.

Silver ingots may also be dismantled from a lot of the more common silver swords in the game, the Nine-Tailed Vixen silver sword and White Widow of the Valley of Flowers, as well as all of those that can be crafted with it.
