Song of the Hunt is a book in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

It is found near Shilard Fitz-Oesterlen's tent in the Nilfgaardian section of Henselt's camp that Geralt can access after returning from Vergen. If you have also found Wild Hunt investigator's notes and spoken to Sile about them, finding the poem allows Geralt to ask Myron for more information about it, though Myron will not have much to say about it. He will instead direct Geralt to speak to someone who is able to decipher poetry.

Journal entry Edit

The Song of the Hunt
Tracing an ever wider spiral,
The Hunt circles the world of mortals.
Everything decays in the centrifugal vortex,
Pure anarchy rages over the world.
The winds of war swell on blood,
Flooding the rites of ancient innocence.
The best lose all hope, and the worst
Revel in fervent and fitful power.
Looking glass images without heart or mind
Haunt the worlds in the name of those,
Who have preserved blood from blood,
And feed on unrestrained lust.
