- Blacksmith in Oxenfurt
- Zoltan Chivay during The Battle of Kaer Morhen, if he is recruited
- Smith during the "Witcher" epilogue, if Redania wins the war
Crafting Requirements
Min. Required Level: Amateur blacksmith
Stacks of 5-10 can be found on some dead soldiers' bodies:
- To the left of the White Orchard griffin's nest
- Near the armored arachas guarded treasure above the Cavern north of Novigrad

Bugs[]
- The crafting screen will show these to have level 14 required, but any crafted split bolts will have a level requirement of 8. While not erroneous per se, "+10 Piercing damage" will also be shown as an effect instead of the inherent base damage on the bolts, which actually ends up as "9-11 Piercing damage".

- North of Marauders' Bridge
- Near Mowshurst (northeast of Lurtch)
- Hill between Lindenvale and Lurtch
- Far north of Road to Bald Mountain, on the coastline
