Stanislav Komárek is an associate of Andrzej Sapkowski and Czech translator of his novels. Aside from translations, he drew the first official map of the Northern Realms based on Sapkowski's notes, as well as coats of arms of important countries.
He is the husband of Jana Komárková, illustrator of the Czech edition of the Witcher Series.
