Stench of Decay is a battle in Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. A letter can be looted from the ground after the battle.
Entry
War gives way to myriad odors: char, blood, muck. Yet, rotting flesh is the worst of it. Strong winds carry the stench far, provoking fear in the hearts of simple folk... and whetting the appetites of bloodthirsty monsters.
Enemy's Deck
Solution
- Use Alzur's Thunder and select the Alghoul to do 10 damage and reduce its hit points to 3, (at the end of your turn its hit points will increase to 16).
- Place your first Lyrian Arbalest on the Melee Row and use its Deploy ability to reduce the hit points of the Alghoul to 15.
- Use Meve's Loyal ability to have the Lyrian Arbalest "randomly" damage the Alghoul again (being the closest unit), it should now have 13 hit points.
- Place your second Lyrian Arbalest on the Melee Row and use its Deploy ability to reduce the hit points of the Alghoul to 11, (at the end of your turn its hit points will increase to 24).
- Place your third Lyrian Arbalest on the Melee Row and use its Deploy ability to reduce the hit points of the Alghoul to 21.
- Use your last card, Scorch to destroy all three enemy units, as they now all have the same number of hit points, (21).
