This figurine can be spied, but not picked up, on a table in the back room of Philippa Eilhart's quarters in Vergen. Geralt can only take it when he finds it in the remains of Tarvik, outside the Kaedweni camp.
Ultimately, Geralt finds out that the strange figurine he has been carrying in fact contains a "compressed" Triss Merigold.
