Superior Golden Oriole is the most advanced form of the potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Five of these can be crafted at any one time and placed in the consumables slot.

This potion not only lasts for three times longer than its basic version, but effectively turns almost all poisons threats into a massive healing buff.

Tips

• The healing effect is very substantial as it apparently heals for the equivalent of the poison damage taken.
  • Standing in swamp gas will cause Geralt to rapidly regenerate health.
  • The spit attack of an arachas deals massive poison damage thus under the effects of this potion it will instead result in a massive health spike.
• When used while wearing Viper School Gear the effects will be rather quirky due to the armor granting 100% resistance to poison damage. Thus some poison damage will no longer cause health regeneration, like that from swamp gas, however, some like the arachas spit attack will.
