Superior Petri's Philter is the most advanced form of the potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Five of these can be crafted at any one time and placed in the consumables slot.

- By special effects it means those that are chance based. For example Igni will always burn its victims.
- The potion will also effect chance based effects from abilities like Exploding Shield, which normally will only push back enemies, but after drinking the potion it will instead stagger everyone the effect hits.
- However, the effect may not work if enemy upscaling is on. This is most likely because the resistance of upscaled enemies is a calculated wrong and boosted as if the enemy is +5 levels higher than Geralt, as in such situations Igni will not burn enemies with or without the potion. But if the enemy is more or less the same level with or without upscaling on then it will work all the same.
- Such problems can be overcome by boosting sign intensity to very high levels like with Euphoria.
