Okay so I am pretty much at a loss of language barrier.
In your directions you state

"

  • [1]
  • If you hit ENTER, you'll see options:
Usage: Gibbed.RED.Unpack.exe [OPTIONS]+ input_dzip [output_dir]

Options:
  -o, --overwrite overwrite existing files
--cdkey=VALUE cdkey for use with DLC archives
                               (in format #####-#####-#####-#####)
-e, --extension=VALUE only extract files of this extension
-h, --help show this message and exit
  • Locate pack0.dzip which is located in /CookedPC folder in The Witcher 2 game directory.
  • Drag pack0.dzip to Command Prompt but make sure there is a space between two directories or you'll get an error message. For instance:
WRONG:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Gibbed's RED Tools\Gibbed.RED.Unpack.exe""C:\Games\GOG.com\The Witcher 2\CookedPC\pack0.dzip"
TRUE:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Gibbed's RED Tools\Gibbed.RED.Unpack.exe" "C:\Games\GOG.com\The Witcher 2\CookedPC\pack0.dzip"

In the part that says the below. What in the world are you saying in plain English for those that don't work with command promt? "but make sure there is a space between two directories" I know for you this is somehow obvious but for me I don't understand what your talking about. What two directories? I feel like there is something just missing in the guide here. If I had to take a guess I am supposed to make another directory or copy this file to somewhere else or or or... I have no idea based on the information here.

Thanks in advance for straightening me out in this subject.

This step of the directions is running the program itself. At the command prompt, you first need to specify the program to run (via drag/drop if following the directions on this page). After that, you need to provide the location of the .dzip file the Unpack.exe file will be using. If you drag/drop that file into the command line, there's a chance that there will not be a space between the two file locations. If you closely compare the WRONG and RIGHT you will see that the second has an added space that the first doesn't. That space is required or it will give an error. (The space is between the quotes " "). If you're still having issues, feel free to drop a line on my talk page here or my wall on Central. Rappy @fandom 18:02, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
