Exactly what I thought. I don't know why people think the spirit might be "innocent" considering one of the outcomes. For a witcher it's an obvious decision: one less monster luring people into the woods and get rid of 2 Crones later. It would be a lot more difficult to choose though if we are asked here to pick killing Crones vs killing spirit, without giving us an option later in game.
