Temerian rye is considered an alchemy ingredient in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and thus can't be consumed like regular drinks. It is not needed to craft anything, but can be used to replenish potions and bombs during meditation.
It can be found as random loot, guaranteed in the reward chest for Temerian Valuables, or purchased from the following merchants:

- Innkeep in the Cunny of the Goose
- Innkeep in The Golden Sturgeon
- Innkeep (Olivier's replacement) in The Kingfisher Inn
