The Band of Brethren is a group of veterans from a war with Nilfgaard.
History[]
The Band of Brethren is a loose group of 5 veterans, who all served in the same unit, that formed after the war has ended. The unit consisted of
- Griffarin, inkeeper and owner of The Hairy Bear
- Gruzil, Griffarin's brother, a local fighting champion
- Gunn Hargis, a dwarven blacksmith and former commander of the unit
- Navik, a gravedigger
- Kuna (disappeared)
According to Griffarin, the group, that always looked out for each other during the war, at some point had enough of the fighting, the pillaging and the horrors of war and turned civilian, yearning to earn an honest living. They chose straws to decide whether to move to Oxenfurt, Maribor, Cintra, or Vizima, ultimately choosing the latter.
They fought at the Battle of Sodden Hill.
