This item is an artifact tied to the deity Nehaleni, and allows Geralt to dispel magic illusions. It is given by Keira Metz during the quest Wandering in the Dark to clear an illusion blocking the exit from the elven mage's laboratory. Other locations[]
- In The Bits of Novigrad, there is an entrance down into the the sewers that leads to an outside path on the cliffs near the Passiflora. In that section of the Novigrad sewers, there is a hidden room behind a brick wall illusion that is guarded by a water hag and several drowned dead.
- To the east of the actual amphitheater at Seidhe Llygad Amphitheater, there is a large cave doorway on the cliffs down near the shoreline of the lake. There is an illusion that can be dispelled to reveal a small room.
- In Skellige at the ruins of Kaer Dhu, there is a monster den entrance. This entrance connects through a series of caves to another entrance on the other side of the mountain range. Inside this series of caves is an illusion wall. This hidden wall only stops Geralt from going from one end of cave to the other end. This illusion doesn't hide any loot.
- During La Cage au Fou in the Mère-Lachaiselongue Cemetery, Geralt will head underground into a crypt. Hidden behind an illusion wall at the end of a hallway, there is a tomb with the unique sword Casus Foederis and a letter.
- During The Battle of Kaer Morhen, if Geralt convinced Keira Metz to travel to Kaer Morhen at the end of For the Advancement of Learning, she will be inside the castle on the right hand side of the entry hallway. Kiera will be enveloped in a transparent spherical illusion sitting in a chair looking at a mirror on a table brushing her hair. There is an interaction point on the sphere where Geralt will attempt to use the Eye to dispel the illusion that Kiera has created. The illusion will begin to break down like other illusions Geralt has interacted with and she will chastise him for trying to dispel her illusion. The animation will then stop and the illusion stays.
Trivia[]
- The name Nehaleni could be derived from the goddess "Nehalennia" , a first century goddess of the Germanic or Celtic tribes living in western Europe.
