The Family Blade is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Walkthrough Edit

Pick up this quest from Kaer Trolde Harbor's notice board about the stolen sword, then make your way to the the obelisk southwest of Miners' Camp to find a group of renegades leaving you no choice but to cut them down. Once done, loot one of the bodies for the Thief's journal and read it to learn your next location is Fort Grymmdjarr, which is southwest of Fyresdal.

At this next location are more bandits so make quick work of them and loot their bodies for yet another Thief's journal, this time pointing to the Whale Graveyard. Head there to deal with the last group of thieves and loot them for the third and final Thief's journal along with the stolen sword, Kuliu.

Now with the stolen sword in hand, head back to Kaer Trolde Harbor and speak with Olaf on the bridge who'll be very pleased you recovered it. He'll reward you with 20 Oren3 and 75 Tw3 icon xp and the quest will then complete.

Journal entry Edit

Skelligers value three things above all else: honor, the memory of their ancestors and sturdy weapons.
