The Witcher: Blood Origin is a Netflix original limited series that serves as a prequel based on the Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski, who serves as a creative consultant on the show. It was announced on July 27, 2020 and premiered on Netflix on December 25, 2022 with 4 episodes. Declan de Barra served as the showrunner.[1]
