The Witcher: The Bear and the Butterfly is a four-part comic book series set in CD PROJEKT RED's video game continuity and published by Dark Horse Comics with the first in the series released on April 23, 2025. It's written by Simon Spurrier and illustrated by Stephen Green.

Issue 1[]
- Geralt travels to a remote town where a vampire is rumored to be killing the townspeople. The bounty has amassed all manner of monster hunters—and among them is another witcher, from the school of the Bear, a fierce competitor for the reward.
Issue 2[]
- Examining the latest victim offers Geralt new insight into the series of killings. With the urchin boy offering his local knowledge, the answers Geralt needs lies with a condemned criminal. Meanwhile, the competing witcher finds a shortcut to the prize.
Issue 3[]
- Nothing is what it seems when Geralt discovers something unnatural in the wake of the attacks. As the truth behind Tila's first encounter with the vampire is revealed, secrets are exposed and the key to finding the creature may be hiding in plain sight.
Issue 4[]
- Geralt and Tila present the killer to the townsfolk, but where monsters roam, so flows deceit. A decades' long grudge shows its true face. And the Graf's oath is put to the test as the bounty is but one prize to be claimed.
