The World of King Arthur. The Malady (Polish: Świat króla Artura. Maladie.) is a book by Andrzej Sapkowski.
The world of King Arthur[]
Sapkowski's lorebook on Arthurian Britain, consisting of history, myths, maps and family trees.
The Malady[]
First published in 1995. It is not one of the witcher tales, but rather retells the story of Tristan and Iseult from the point of view of two of the "smaller players", Sir Morholt of Ulster, an Irish knight and Branwen confidante of queen Iseult the Fair.
Trivia[]
- In this story, Morholt seems to be very much like Geralt in disposition and as with the Witcher tales, swordplay, knightly customs and heraldry feature quite prominently.
- There is an English translation of this story available on the web which is quite entertaining. We cannot vouch for the content other than to say that we enjoyed it very much. It is definitely in keeping with the Witcher series, though not about witchers in any way.
