I appreciate the History section and its info you added on Mount Gorgon but next time, please, also add reference from where you took the information. If it is from book (does not matter if in-game or real) then be sure to write it in italics. You can inspire here: Anséis.
I'm just going off the description of the category which states that the category "groups together geographical locations, including Kingdoms, provinces, duchies, cities, locations within cities, etc. It also includes geographical features like seas, lakes, mountain ranges, forest areas and rivers in the Witcher universe." All the pages I've added to the category thus far fulfill this criteria.
Is this category supposed to be exclusively a collection of sub-categories? In which case, I'll stop. But going purely off the description, it seems to me that a lot of pages are missing from the 'Geography' category.
But anyway, that's my reasoning. If you have a problem with this, let me know, and I will go and do something more productive.
Well, I wouldn't say "exclusively a collection of sub-categories", but kinda if you understand what I mean. By "doing something more productive" you mean what precisely? You could start with Relationship sections for Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer... you rembember what I am talking about?
I do remember; I've recently started describing events related to Geralt in the first game. It's not "Relationships" specifically, but more of a detailed, chronological order of events, similar to what they have on other language Witcher wikis. Progress is slow (I've only done up to chapter I) because I have little time.
By "doing something more productive" I just meant something that isn't categorization, or some such mundane task. I didn't mean anything in particular.
Yeah, feel free to delete them. I tried to include the images in an article, but for some reason, they're only visible if you click on them to make them full-size. Is there a way to make them display properly?
Oh okay, fine :) Yeah I'll be adding them, though slowly and infrequently, because I'm busy with things. In fact, this month I'm less busy than in other months, so I'll try to continue with the character synopses.
How long was it since you played the first Witcher game? I would like someone to improve on character pages from that game like I did with Kalkstein (quote, biography, infobox)... I could do that but you know how it is - two will make it quicker. :)
I see that the word did not get to you. I and Mechemik have agreed to write in past tense because the events occurred already and all that... can link you that discussion if you want. We also agreed on replacing section like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Blood and Wine expansion with such as Biography or History. So please when writing about characters (Yaki Rafiberg) or countries remember that. O also want to genuinely thank you for sticking around :)
Okay noted, but what about events that are player-dependent (e.g. Sile de Tansarville dying, or not dying and later being imprisoned)? I feel like it would be weird to write both versions in the past tense when those events are mutually exclusive.
Speaking of spoiler tags, I'm starting to think we just need a general template to put at the top of each page. I'm seeing occasional complaints about stuff being spoiled for them because user comments on the pages.
It does look good but because its small, it isn't effective very much in warning from Spoiler. Could you please make it bigger? About the size of similar templates on AC and Warhammer Fantasy Wikias. Maybe you could also add image to such template (like on Wookiepedia)? These might serve you.
Well, my main isue is I want to use an image that isn't tied to a particular game so people will know it covers all the series. Like if you look at the spoiler tag for various ME, when they use images, they're specific to each game. Makes it easier to tell what the spoiler's for, but doesn't work for general (like we're trying to do). That's why I didn't use an image originally.
