• Hi Joe,

    I saw you had added all the portal and css/js code for the Mass Effect slider and was wondering if you could hep me to implement one here. I think I got most of it, but some reason it's not clickable (I'll change the images later, right now I just want to get it working first).

    • Hi Mechemik.

      It looks like you copied everything you need and have set up your slides correctly, but at Special:JSPages I noticed that the latest revision of Common.js is not live, which would explain why clicking the slider isn't doing anything. Click the "Submit for review" button in the Actions column, and once it's been reviewed and approved, hopefully the slider will work.

    • Ok thanks, I'll do that then!

    • So, ran into a problem when I was working on updating the monobook scheme. The portal here and on mass effect is a white box with some text but will flash the images for a second if clicked on but I've looked over DA's monobook.css and don't see anything that would change this.

    • After looking at things with Chrome's inspect tool, I figured out that Dragon Age has this block of code on their Monobook.css that applies to the portal slider.

      .ui-widget-content { background: none !important; color: inherit !important; }
      .ui-corner-all, .ui-corner-bottom, .ui-corner-right, .ui-corner-br { -moz-border-radius-bottomright: 10px !important; -webkit-border-bottom-right-radius: 10px !important; -khtml-border-bottom-right-radius: 10px !important; border-bottom-right-radius: 10px !important; }
      .ui-corner-all, .ui-corner-bottom, .ui-corner-left, .ui-corner-bl { -moz-border-radius-bottomleft: 10px !important; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 10px !important; -khtml-border-bottom-left-radius: 10px !important; border-bottom-left-radius: 10px !important; }
      .ui-corner-all, .ui-corner-top, .ui-corner-right, .ui-corner-tr { -moz-border-radius-topright: 10px !important; -webkit-border-top-right-radius: 10px !important; -khtml-border-top-right-radius: 10px !important; border-top-right-radius: 10px !important; }
      .ui-corner-all, .ui-corner-top, .ui-corner-left, .ui-corner-tl { -moz-border-radius-topleft: 10px !important; -webkit-border-top-left-radius: 10px !important; -khtml-border-top-left-radius: 10px !important; border-top-left-radius: 10px !important; }
      .ui-widget-content a { color: #FEC356 !important; }

      So copy & paste that to Monobook.css and see if that fixes it.
