Case in point of one glaring inconsistency of DD; Ciri being 7 when Duny and Pavetta disappeared. In the books, Crach states in 1267 that it has been 10 years since he gave the news (Ciri couldn't have been 7 then, by our reckoning she'd only be about 3/4 depending on when in the year it took place, either way 7 is too old for later events). This is supported by Geralt visiting Cintra just after she turns 6, and Mousesack informs him that Duny and Pavetta are already dead by that point.
