The Trappers were a gang of slavers, led by Skomlik (after the unconfirmed death of Sweers), who were tasked by the prefect of Amarillo to capture Ciri. They found Ciri, unconscious and near death on the riverbed of the Suchak in the Korath desert. The expedition to find Ciri was actually led by the knight, Sweers, but the latter did not survive the return trip.
