Troll Trouble

Troll Trouble is the first DLC pack for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

Walkthrough

1. Remove the message from the board.
2. Go to the bridge and rescue a villager.
3. Talk to Chorab in Lobinden village.
4. Fight and then talk to the troll.
   • Help the troll.
   • Kill it and collect the reward from Louis Merse.
5. Talk to Síle and Zoltan Chivay.
6. Go to Sendler's house. If you haven't beaten him yet in Poker Face: Flotsam you can get the she-troll's head if you win.
7. Find out where Dmitri is from his henchman at the inn.
8. Confront Dmitri at the Graveyard or at his hideout in the swamps. Dmitri drops the bandit hideout key.
9. Return to the Troll and Chorab to collect your reward.
10. Optional:

• If you decide to help the troll, after claiming the reward from Chorab you may go back and slay the troll. This will allow you to also claim a reward from Louis Merse.

• The bandit hideout is the house southbound in the swamp.

Note

• One of two Steam Achievements begin recording upon completion of this quest.
  1. Friend Of The Trolls (mutually exclusive with Trollslayer) - Awarded for sparing the lives of all trolls and helping them
  2. Trollslayer – Awarded for killing all the trolls in the game
• Bug - The troll tongue and even the unlooted troll's corpse tends to disappear if you reload a saved game. Save the troll tongue for last and give the ingredients to the witch as soon as possible.
• You can win the she-troll's head from Sendler at dice poker. If you do, then go back and see the troll and tell him you have his mate's head. He'll say he remembers her and give you a reward for bringing back her head. That reward is a diagram for Hunter's armor.
