Vampire: Katakan is a close combat gwent card in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and part of the Monsters deck.
It can be awarded for defeating Madman Lugos in a match during Gwent: Skellige Style or, if he dies during The Sunstone quest, it will become available as loot in Lugos' house at Kaer Muire.
Tips[]
- While the card may not seem very special it is far from the truth. It's special ability is having a higher strength than the remaining Vampire cards. Thus it acts as a shield against opponents Scorch, as the scorch effect will only destroy this card while the rest will remain in play.
- It will also protect other muster cards that are played except for the Crones as they have higher strength. Thus when playing Monsters Gwent deck the Vampire cards should be played first.
