Vanielle of Brugge (d. 1263) was a sorceress and one of the fourteen mages who fell during the Battle of Sodden Hill during the First Northern War.
Roughly three years after her death, her friend Triss Merigold saw her dead body in a trance, after attempting to telepathically connect with Ciri in Kaer Morhen.[1]
