The king was called "Proud" - not because of prance, but to give the splendor of his people and the whole court. However, he wasn't a very memorable monarch - during his reign, the so-called Seven Years' War with Temeria took Novigrad and the Delta of the Pontar, and a coalition of northern realms occupied the fertile river valleys of Nimnar and Buina.
