Vestibor the Proud was the king of Redania and the son of Dambor the Black and Maria Pulcheria. He married Caitlyn of Kaedwen and had one son with her, Radovid II.
The king was called "Proud" - not because of prance, but to give the splendor of his people and the whole court. However, he wasn't a very memorable monarch - during his reign, the so-called Seven Years' War with Temeria took Novigrad and the Delta of the Pontar, and a coalition of northern realms occupied the fertile river valleys of Nimnar and Buina.
